[June 18th]    Training course inter club in August

[June 10th]    All in cycle ...

On Saturday, June 06th, 2009 was marked by the holiday of the Cycle and the Roller, a demonstration which took an unexpected scale of part the unconditional support of the City of Saint-Denis and the service of the sports which allowed a quality gathering on the site of Champ Fleuri, Skate Park the runway of Mountain biking by way of the Velodrome.  [Read the report ]

[June 8th]    Movement to Carquefou : The preparations

For the attention of the parents of the pilots who are going to make the movement of Carquefou. An information meeting will take place to Saint Denis on Wednesday, June 10th at 6 pm and Saturday, June 13th at 2 pm in Saint Pierre during the sessions of training.

[June 5th]    Training course inter club

The Bicross Club Omega organizes, on its runway of Cambaie, a training course inter club during the holidays of August. It will take place 3rd, 4th, 6th and in August 7th or the morning from 9 am until 12 am or the afternoon from 2 pm until 5 pm.

[June 3th]    All in Cycle and in roller

The OMS, the City of Saint-Denis and the clubs of the city of cycle, roller, skateboard and scooter invite you in " All in cycle and in roller 2009 " on Saturday, June 06th, 2009 on the Velodrome of Champ Fleuri. Beginning of the demonstration at 2:00 pm. We hope for a numerous participation for 5 hours of non-stop animation!

PROGRAM : BMX - Initiation ROLLER workshop - HOCKEY ROLLER - FOOTBALL ROLLER - ACROBATIC ROLLER - SCOOTER SKATE BOARD-READY OF ROLLER (not for the ride).
And at 4:30 pm, a ride through the streets of Saint Denis. (See the program ).
Attention, the registration form is compulsory for workshops and ride.
Come Numerous on Saturday, June 06th, 2009 on the velodrome of Champ Fleuri !

[May 31st]    Retreat is not retreat...

He announced it during the competition of le Port last month, to the general surprise : " I intend to put myself set back from the BMX from the end of the championship ! ". Such an announcement does not leave indifferent on behalf of a fascinated man, who is a part of "dinosaurs" of our discipline and who so much looked for more than two decades.

Indeed, Gilles PLAY is a part oldest of the local BMX with Jaques VELIO, François PEPIN and the other stemming accomplices in particular the cycling. [Read the continuation]

[May 29th]    Action of nearness : Schoolchildren discover the BMX

It is under the beautiful sun, that on Wednesday, the OMS of Saint Denis organized its 7th animation BMX of the year (Action of nearness) on the runway of Mountain biking of Champ Fleuri. During 2 hours, 10 young people of the Saint Michel school were able to learn about the BMX.  [Read the report ]

[May 28th]    Stroll with cycle on the road of Tamarins

The PPA, the section mountain biking, organizes a ride with cycle on Sunday, May 31st. Here is the timing: gathering at feet of the viaduct at 9:00 am for a departure at 9:15 am. Arrived at l'Etang Salé at about 11:45 am. Break meal, to plan sandwich and drink.
Departure of l'Etang Salé at 1:45 pm. Arrived at St Paul at about 4:15 pm.
Stroll opened to all.

[May 28th]    Training Selection of this Saturday in Le Port

Information of Jean Yves MEDOC about the training of this Saturday, May 30th. The access to the runway of Le Port can be made only by the wicket which looks onto the pedestrian path. It will be necessary to park its car on the car park of the swimming pool or then on the street in front of the runway. The club was not able to obtain the authorization of the city hall for the access to the sports complex.

The trainings of the Regional Selection begin under the responsibility of Jérome PEPIN, Jérome EXAVIER and Julien HOARAU today.
It is advised to the pilots who are going to participate in the National and world races to be present in the various trainings.

[April 24th]   Secure railing

For this beginning of year, the clubs which want to continue to use their piston as well in the training as in competition, have to make works to install a secure railing. It is the regulation and he goes away of the safety of the pilots. Nevertheless, the only one a runway is at present equipped with it in the island. So, taking advantage of Mr. Bernard BOUTIN's presence, the CRBMX organized an information meeting which was held in the office of the Regional Committee of Cycling on Wednesday, April 22nd in the presence of the elected representatives, Directors of the Sporting services and of the Presidents of clubs of municipalities concerned by the implementation of the secure railing.

[April 04th]   Animation BMX with the young people

The OMS of Saint Denis welcomed last Wednesday, its 3rd animation BMX of the year on the runway of Mountain biking of Champ-Fleuri. To the program of the after noon, discovery of the discipline for 3 girls and 9 boys of the Association Racing Club of Saint Denis. The next action of nearness animation BMX is planned on Wednesday, April 08th, 2009 with the young people of the Saint Michel school.

[March 31st]   Training courses arbitrators' BMX formation

Mr. Bernard BOUTIN, delegated BMX to the National Commission of the Arbitration Body, will animate several training courses on the island during his coming in April.
The formation of regional arbitrator is accessible to all, it is not indispensable to have of knowledge in the field of the BMX.
Concerning the recycling, all the already formed arbitrators can participate in it.
The training course of application of Sunday, 26 will allow the participants of both training courses (the North and the South) to preside in the various posts of the competition (except secretarial department). Join numerous!

[March 15th]   In your camcorders

Festival of amateur sporting film of extremes, all the physical activities of open air. Amateur competition of videos rewarding the best productions. A jury consisted of professionals will give diverse prize to the outdone realizations.
For this edition 2009, new categories were born :
- Aquatic sliding sports : surfing, bodyboard, knee-board, windsurfing, kite surfing, bodysuit surfing, waveski, skim board.
- Outdoor sports : paragliding, canyonning, descent running waters, free-fall, fly surfing, skateboard, climbing, raids, sail, plunged under navy, mountain bike.
- Zot Pei : emphasize the Reunion island in general: its landscapes, its culture, its specificities, its beauty … Turn a promotional subject of the intense island.
The organizing committee will make a preselection of videos according to the categories:
- Aquatic sliding sport: 7 - Outdoor Sport: 7 - Zot Pei: 5
The deadline of reception of videos is stopped on September 1st, 2009.
The film of 4 min maxi 30 is judged on its whole contents, it has to be an alchemy of sports images associated with the development of Reunion. The quality of shots, centrings, sequence of movements, originality of the assembly contributes to the success of a film.

The elective general assembly was held on Saturday, February 14th in a big western hotel. All the candidates was elected for the next four years. So, François PEPIN succeeds Stephane HENAFF, who was not any more a candidate for the presidency of the committee BMX.

[January 24th]   Regional Calendar on 2009

Yesterday evening, the committee of BMX met to Saint Paul, under the leadership of Stephane HENAFF to put the new season on rails. And it is the VCT which opens the ball with its traditional promotional organized on February 1st within the framework of the sets of la Plaine des Cafres.
